A Personal Invitation From Greg Smith

puzzle-piecesMy clients are people that I really enjoy serving and spending time with. They’re wonderful, good-hearted people who appreciate my brand of caring, and I would love for you to be one of them.

I would like to extend to you my own personal invitation to our practice.

I know that from all the therapists out there you will make a very careful selection, and our Greenville, SC counseling practice has always been known for attracting the nicest people. Everyone always remarks about how friendly our office atmosphere is – and that’s because anyone who comes here, we consider a friend.

Our practice has always been different than any other practice – and that’s probably one of the qualities that attracts our clients to us. It’s likely one of the reasons that you are considering becoming my client.

You will quickly come to know that I really care about you, and would do anything I can for you.

I admit to not being perfect. While I may veer from perfection, I will never misguide. While I may make mistakes, I will never let you remain displeased or dissatisfied with any facet of your experience here.

You will quickly come to know my emphasis on individualization, and how I appreciate the specialness of each person like you.

I am honored by your consideration of becoming one of my clients, and I would like the opportunity to earn that privilege.

It would be my pleasure to have you become part of our practice.

I owe a lot of things to my clients:

  • You can expect me to provide you with the kind of care that will prompt you to tell your friends about me.
  • You can expect me to deliver the highest quality of care at the utmost standards of professionalism and skill.
  • The service I give you will be delivered in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. It will be treatment that is effective and enduring, and that enables you to reach your fullest potential as a human being.
  • You can expect to always feel that you’ve been treated with only the highest degree of respect and dignity.
  • You can expect that the care you receive be delivered skillfully and thoughtfully.
  • You can expect to feel good about the results created by our work together.
  • You can expect me to worry about you at a higher level than you worry about yourself.
  • You can expect me to perform services at such a level of professionalism that the results are superlative and enduring.
  • You can expect me to treat you with the utmost consideration and respect.
  • You can expect me to worry about you as if you were a member of my own family.
  • You can expect that years down the road you will still be experiencing the benefits of our work together.

I want you to care about yourself. I want you to care about your emotional health, your relationships, and your personal success. And I want you to experience the value of receiving extraordinary care to help you be at your best in all of these areas.

I believe in doing things the best way they can be done. Because you are considering me as your therapist I believe that we think along the same lines, and you know that my practice has been built on giving the absolute best advice and guidance.

I believe that you value self-improvement, and understand the great benefit that good therapy offers. I believe that you value the comfort and security that emotional balance, meaningful relationships, and peak effectiveness give you. I believe you understand what stress does to you if you allow it to – and I will do everything within my power to free you of that.

I want to ensure that you achieve and maintain optimal functioning – and see your functioning continue to improve progressively over time.

I want to be your friend, and I want you to understand that I care about you on a personal level, not just a professional one. I want you to feel cared about on a deep and fraternal level. I am interested in your family. I am interested in your life. I am interested in your hopes and dreams.

I don’t ever want you to pay me for anything if you do not feel that it was provided at the level of competence and professionalism that you expected and deserve.

My vision for you is that you be able to live life to the fullest for the rest of your life. When you encounter challenges, you will be equipped with the insight, the confidence, and the tools you need to handle those things in the healthiest and most effective manner possible. You will experience ever-increasing abundance of peace, joy, and fulfillment in life.

My goal is to provide you with a level of service and care that you feel was worth many times more than you paid for it. I will deliver the best possible outcomes, and it will always be done the same way I would do it for my own family.

When genuine compassion, extraordinary commitment, and exceptional expertise all come together, you’ll find that the results, the benefits, and the payoff to you are magnified beyond comprehension.

Again, I invite you to our practice. You will belong to a group of very special people who are treated as very special people.

This is therapy at its full power and impact. It’s private practice that depends on the integrity of the individuals, and the results are dramatic – because the foundation is real, and structured from goodness and honor, from dignity and virtue and the substance of things that are cherished and wholesome.

This is a practice that is driven by what’s best for you, and the emphasis is on you and your wants and needs. It is not driven nor directed by the terms of insurance companies, nor the complacency of routine. Everything is coordinated for your special, specific circumstances and revolves around the best approach for your short and long term successes.

I look forward to hearing from you. I will care for you as a person, and our relationship will mean more to me than just “doctor-patient.”

I openly and warmly invite you to our practice, and thank you for considering becoming my client.

To Your Future,

Greg Smith
